Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what DateKit does — and, just as importantly, what it does not do — with the information you enter. DateKit is a set of free calculators that run entirely in your web browser. The dates, numbers and other inputs you type are processed on your own device using JavaScript and are never sent to a server we control.
Information we collect. We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or location. Because the calculators perform all math locally, we do not receive the dates you enter. The only data we might receive is basic, anonymous technical information from our web host (such as the fact that a page was requested, the browser type, and the approximate country of the request), which is standard for any website and cannot be used to reconstruct your inputs.
Cookies and similar technologies. The calculators themselves do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we enable advertising in the future, the advertising partner may use cookies.
Third-party vendors. Should advertising be enabled, it may be served by a third-party vendor such as Google AdSense, which may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
Google Advertising. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting the Google Ad Settings page. You can also opt out of many third-party vendors’ cookies through the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.
How to opt out of personalized advertising. You can permanently opt out of personalized ads from Google by visiting aboutads.info/choices, the consumer choice tool run by the Digital Advertising Alliance.
Analytics. We may use privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics that do not identify you and do not read the values you type. We do not combine analytics with the calculator inputs, because those inputs never leave your device in the first place.
Data retention and deletion. Since we do not store the dates or numbers you enter, there is nothing about your calculations for us to retain or delete. If you contact us by email, we keep your message only as long as needed to answer it, and we delete it sooner if you ask.
Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Because we hold almost no personal information, these rights are simple to honour — email hello@datekit.online and we will act on your request.
Security. Running the calculators on your own device means your inputs are not transmitted over the network and therefore cannot be intercepted in transit. We serve the site over HTTPS so the page and its code reach you securely.
Children’s privacy. DateKit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy. We may update this policy from time to time. The current version always lives at this URL, and the "last updated" note below reflects when it changed.
