About DateKit

DateKit is a small set of free calculators for everyday date math: your exact age, the gap between two dates, countdowns, and week or day-of-year lookups. Every tool runs in your browser, so the dates you type never leave your device.

We built DateKit because date arithmetic is full of edge cases — leap years, month lengths, weekends — that are easy to get wrong by hand. Our tools follow the standard Gregorian calendar so the result matches the calendar on your wall.

The project is intentionally tiny and private: no accounts, no uploads, no cross-site tracking. The goal is a fast, accurate answer you can trust for everyday questions, without handing your data to anyone.

How we keep it free. DateKit carries no subscription and no paywall. If advertising is shown, it helps cover the small cost of keeping the site online. The calculators themselves never read or share what you type, so privacy is not the price of a free tool.

Our standard. We test the engine against known dates and edge cases — leap days, month boundaries, year ends — so the numbers you see are the numbers a paper calendar would give. If you ever find a result that looks off, tell us and we will fix it.

Who we are. DateKit is run by a small group of people who kept reaching for a calculator and a wall calendar at the same time. We built the tools we wished existed: fast, private, and free of clutter.

DateKit is not an official records system. For legal, payroll or government purposes, always use the document or system your authority requires. You can reach the team at hello@datekit.online.
